Scarlett Bancroft

Hi! I'm Scarlett, a 1-on-1 remote tutor for A level psychology, along with GCSE Psychology, GCSE English (literature and language) and GCSE French. I am currently studying BSc Psychology at Newcastle University, having obtained an A in French, an A in Psychology and an A* in theatre at A level. Throughout my GCSE and A level studies, I often found it very difficult to motivate myself to revise, and I so I understand how hard it is to even know where to start. Teachers in secondary school and college cannot adapt to every individual and design classes specifically for each students, but we don't all learn in the same way. As a private tutor, I am capable of adapting and creating my content to fit you as a student, because I know from my own experience that one size certainly does not fit all. Through my own perseverance, I managed to find techniques and resources that allowed me to study effectively, and I would love to share my knowledge and help others reach their full potential.

In the first, free session with me, I would take time to get to know you as a student and we can unpack the best way for me to work with you and make sure you can fully understand the content. In the following sessions, I can clarify and teach content, we will go through practice exams together, learning exam techniques as well as reviewing tricky concepts from your lessons. I will help you create personal revision timetables that are realistic and not overwhelming. Together we can improve your learning and het you prepared for the exams in summer.
