My lessons are interactive, discussion-based, and tailored to each student’s goals. I aim to help students not only understand philosophical arguments but also learn how to analyse them critically and express their own ideas with clarity and precision.

In my teaching, I combine structured explanation with guided discussion. Each lesson focuses on clarifying key concepts, examining arguments, and developing the student’s ability to reason, write, and present effectively. I encourage students to think independently, ask questions, and engage deeply with the material—whether we are exploring metaphysics, philosophy of mind, logic, or epistemology.

I often use examples from contemporary debates or even film and media (for instance, episodes of Black Mirror) to make abstract issues more tangible. This approach helps students connect philosophical ideas to real-world contexts.

Having taught and designed modules at the University of Cyprus and the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo, and delivered tutorials at the University of St Andrews, I bring years of experience teaching university students at different levels. I also enjoy working with adults returning to study philosophy, helping them build confidence and analytical skills step by step.

Each student learns differently, so I adapt the content and pace to their background and aims—whether it’s mastering complex topics, improving essay writing, or preparing for exams or postgraduate study. My goal is to make philosophy accessible, rigorous, and genuinely enjoyable.
