In the first lesson, I like to set out my programme in terms of topics that I’ll cover then I’ll ask what topics you are struggling with to spend more time on those topics. Since I have a background in Civil Engineering, I can provide a more in depth explanation about topics to help your understanding further. Im a firm believer in practise makes perfect so I’ll prepare a range of questions to consolidate your knowledge ranging from easy to challenging. I have experience tutoring family, family friends, friends and students in GCSE Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, as well as teaching A-level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. Each student that I’ve taught has had lessons specially catered to their individual challenges, strengths and learning style. Last year, I helped 4 students achieve an A/A* in A-level Mathematics and helped one student achieve an A* in A-level Further Mathematics.
