All my lessons are: tailored to an individual's needs; are well-structured, and fundamentally founded on the required assessment objectives of the course and examination being studied and pursued. Students will always be guided through a process of firstly identifying what they do know, developing their areas of uncertainty, before delving firmly into new and unfamiliar content and problems to solve.

Following this will be a process of repetition and increasing the cognitive demand to rapidly build the student's confidence as they begin to make the previously unknown firmly known and recognised. As is true of any examination board, the style of questioning on any given year is largely identical to those of previous years - making large sections of the exam quite predictable. Around 15-20% of the content is less predictable, however, and this is where focused, tailored tutoring can set you apart from the rest: as you would be gaining regular exposure to higher-order problems and key concepts taught at a deeper level than typically done in school (largely due to not enough time or considerable class sizes).

Whilst my sessions will focus primarily on providing learning and refining your understanding of Mathematics or your entrance examinations, there will still be opportunities to informally assess your understanding at various points to gain a wider view of your progression and to celebrate your achievements! I will ensure to monitor and track your progression along the way and help you to see how far you have come. I sincerely hope that all of the above sounds like a service you can sign up to.
