I am an experienced online Maths tutor with over 20 years of experience working with children and young people across education and support roles. My background includes 12 years as a Teaching Assistant in a UK SEN school, 6 years as a playworker, and the last 2 years teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 level in secondary schools.

I specialise in working with both mainstream and SEN learners, tailoring my teaching to meet individual needs. I follow the UK National Curriculum and use White Rose Maths as a foundation for planning, ensuring a consistent, structured approach that supports fluency, problem-solving, and reasoning.

I deliver engaging online sessions using interactive tools and proven teaching methods, including “I do, we do, you do,” scaffolding techniques, and the Frayer Model to support vocabulary and conceptual understanding. I also use a wide range of online-friendly AfL strategies such as digital mini-whiteboards, low-stakes quizzes, and shared tasks to check understanding and adjust learning in real time.
