Having learned the most from my own trial and error working on passion projects, I believe whole heartedly in the value of practical work.

For those who are new, I will briefly go through the basic concepts that make up programming before diving head first into some coding for themselves, so they can gain confidence in not just programming, but their ability to learn it. I will be (metaphorically) over there shoulder to nudge them in the right direction and to stop and explain why certain problems arise, how to fix it and how to avoid them in the future.

I will then mix in some personalised programming problems for them to resolve based on their skill level, reviewing their methodology to ensure the utmost efficiency and their ability to understand the problem and come up with an effective solution.
