In my many years of teaching Hebrew, I have taught all classes, from Shul through to adulthood. I have always maintained fun-filled student-based activities, engaging people in positive learning experiences
I design lessons using text books (and when needed, child-friendly text books) songs, familiar words, alongside the required curriculum.
For the past three years, I have been teaching Hebrew to a range of adult students. This includes 3 different levels of adult learners - Beginners, Improvers and teachers. The aim of this course is to strengthen the knowledge of Hebrew. You will learn new structures and vocabulary around different topics in order to communicate in the language in everyday situations, including greetings, daily activities, finding your way, making simple purchases, ordering a meal, etc.
By the end of the course you will have developed an insight into Hebrew-speaking life, culture and society.
I am flexible and can adopt my plans to changing circumstances. For example, I have developed all my lesson plans into online lessons, using audio files I email to students, online homework checks, pre-lesson learning – all of which have resulted in an equally engaging and productive learning environment as face to face lessons.
