Sarah Young

I have a music degree from The University of Manchester and a achieved a distinction in music therapy master's degree from Guildhall School of Music and drama.

I am a professional classically trained singer, starting my training aged seven as a chorister at St Alban's Cathedral choir and have years of experience teaching singing, piano, bassoon and music theory. I have ABRSM Grade 8 distinction in singing and bassoon and Grade 7 piano. I have guided students through achieving excellent results in ABRSM grades and getting into secondary schools.

I have lots of experience working within mental health and wellbeing field and with SEN students.

My experience as a Music Therapist working both in the UK and abroad means I am very approachable, encouraging and really listen and tailor all my sessions to each individuals' needs. I care about every individual I work with and I believe that by really listening and understanding each student, that is how we will be able to work together to reach their full potential.
