My greatest desire is to pass on my enthusiasm for English and History to the next generation. I often use in-depth projects that explore all aspects of a topic and link various parts of the curriculam, so there's always something that individual students can relate to. I specialise in Victorian History and Literature and love exploring the real lives of people from the past and the rebellious individuals that helped change the world they lived in. I enjoy creating learning experiences that go beyond the classroom for example field trips and production and performance. Once inspired, children and young people want to learn more and teaching is easy!
