Sarah is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable aspiring psychologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She studied psychology A level prior to this and is going on to complete a masters in Mental Health in Children and Young People: Psychological Approaches.
Her lessons are student-centred, and focus on building confidence. Sessions are designed to be productive, but also to make students feel relaxed, so that the learning process is enjoyable
The first lesson with Sarah will typically consist of a discussion about the general aims of the student, what they would like to learn, what areas they feel confident in, what they do not feel so confident in and allow space for any questions that they may have for her.
As well as her educational background in psychology, Sarah has leadership experience with children through voluntary work in which she took on the role as a youth leader for children aged 7 to 11 between 2014 and 2019. She found that from this role that she was able to develop valuable skills in leadership, patience, and discovered her passion for helping young people.
