I have a person-centred, flexible approach grounded in years of experience in a range of contexts including state and private sector, overseas and in the UK and as a theatre performer, director and a facilitator within the corporate world. Personable, approachable, warm-hearted, humorous, I quickly establish a safe context within which people can explore, be curious, experiment and develop. Employing a range of strategies and tools to enable students to feel empowered to tackle tasks both familiar and unfamiliar and enhance their skills to meet their personal goals.
I believe everything begins with relationship, feeling welcome and unjudged. Learning is about exploring and trying out ideas and concepts and applying them in different contexts. I prefer an experiential approach which includes self-reflection, analysis and identification of progress.
Students often comment on how they quickly feel at ease, finding sessions interesting, enjoyable, fun and helpful in furthering their progress.
