I am a passionate and approachable Biology tutor with a strong academic background in Data Analysis, Microbiology and Genetics. I enjoy helping students understand science and math beyond simply memorising information. My goal is to make lessons engaging, easy to follow, and relevant to each student’s learning needs and academic goals.

My teaching style is patient, interactive, and visual. I begin by identifying what the student already understands before introducing new concepts. I then break complex topics into smaller, manageable steps (showing how they link to one other and real-life scenarios) and explain them using simple language. I make use of visual aids such as diagrams, labelled illustrations, flowcharts, and mind maps because I believe that seeing how concepts connect can significantly improve understanding and memory.

During online lessons, I encourage students to participate by answering questions, explaining concepts in their own words, and working through practice activities. I believe mistakes are a natural and important part of learning, so I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and trying again when they do not understand something.

I also adapt my lessons according to the individual student. Some learners may benefit from more visual explanations, while others may need additional practice or step-by-step guidance. I therefore focus on finding the approach that works best for each learner.

Ultimately, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more confident, understanding the topic more clearly, and equipped with strategies they can use independently in their studies.
