I have an enhanced DBS check. I also did English Literature at University where I obtained a 1st. I completed my Masters in Black Humanities and I am now currently doing my English PGCE.

I believe that every lesson needs enthusiasm and a genuine love for the subject! I am someone who possess both of those aspects. I am currently a teacher trainee, so I know how to implement the best teaching practices in a lesson. I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of my students, taking into account their interests, the national curriculum and also the current socio-cultural forces at play. English has to be fun and relevant, and I always ensure my lessons are engaging. My students love my lessons and love the way I deliver them, and I know that I can carry this forward into all of my tutoring sessions.
