I am a passionate and creative teacher, who loves to teach. A key motivator for me to become a teacher was having a close family member with additional needs. This experience fuelled my desire to support students and families facing similar challenges. I specialise in teaching students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). My sessions are personalised and bespoke to the individual student, incorporating their strengths, interests and needs. I focus not only on the academic progress, but building functional, life and vocational skills that are meaningful and practical for everyday life, making learning meaningful and engaging. Outside of teaching, I love to travel, explore new countries and cultures. I also enjoy being outside, walking, being active in the gym and swimming.
I am a qualified Primary Teacher who specialises in supporting pupils with SEN. I have 8 years' experience of supporting SEN students, including Autism, Down's Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay. I specialise in supporting SLD students, particularly Down's Syndrome and Challenging Behaviour. I am a creative and passionate teacher who loves teaching and thrives on engaging children well into learning. I have supported pupils on a 1:1 basis where they need extra support. I am passionate about personalising learning to individual pupils.
