Hello and Welcome! My name is Saoirse Byrne, and I’m excited to guide you through the world of psychology. My lessons are highly interactive, combining lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. I use multimedia tools like slides, videos, and virtual whiteboards to enhance learning, and each session includes quizzes, assignments, and Q&A time to reinforce material and address your questions.
We will cover various topics, including Social Psychology, Neuroscience, Research Methodology and Statistics, Clinical Psychology, and Psychotherapeutic Theory. Lessons include real-world applications, case studies, and group activities to foster a deeper understanding and critical thinking.
I hold a Higher Diploma in Psychology from University College Dublin and have extensive experience in mental health support roles, including helpline support for Women’s Aid and Childline ISPCC. Additionally, I have worked as a research assistant on various psychology projects and served as a laboratory demonstrator at UCD, guiding first-year students through statistical analysis and experimental design.
My lessons are designed to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. I tailor my approach to meet individual needs and learning styles, ensuring you get the most out of each session. With a solid foundation in psychological theories and research methodologies, I bring both academic and practical insights to my teaching.
I look forward to helping you achieve your academic and personal growth goals in psychology. Let’s embark on this exciting learning journey together!
Best regards,
Saoirse Byrne
