My lessons are discussion based and tailored to the individual student. In the first session we identify any challenges that they are facing, whether that is procrastination, organisation, motivation, exam stress or balancing school with other commitments. We establish clear goals together and create a realistic action plan.
In the follow-up sessions we look at progress, discuss what has and hasn’t worked and introduce strategies to help the student become more productive and organised. This could mean creating study schedules, breaking down larger goals into smaller steps, creating routines, and finding ways to stay motivated and accountable.
These are not lecture sessions but interactive ones where students are encouraged to bring in their ideas and reflect on their experiences. Every student should leave with concrete steps they can take immediately toward their schoolwork and personal goals.
The environment is always supportive, non-judgemental and accommodating to the pace of the student’s needs. My priority is empathy, ensuring that students are comfortable, listened to and able to progress at a pace that works for them.
