My lessons are designed to be lively, practical, and centred on real communication. Each 60-minute session begins with a friendly warm-up to get you speaking naturally, followed by a focused conversation on topics that matter to you—such as workplace situations, business trends, or cultural interests. I use Twenix’s ready-to-go materials as a springboard, but I also adapt and expand on them, drawing on my experience as a published writer, drama teacher, and teaching assistant supporting a visually impaired GCSE student. This means I can respond flexibly to your goals and learning style, whether you want to polish professional vocabulary, improve pronunciation, or gain fluency for everyday exchanges.
During the lesson, I provide clear, immediate feedback on grammar, word choice and pronunciation, weaving corrections into the flow so that you keep talking with confidence. I also use storytelling techniques and role-play, developed through years of creative writing and drama teaching, to make the learning memorable and fun. Each class closes with a brief review and practical takeaway—new phrases, a pronunciation tip, or a short follow-up activity—so you know exactly how to keep improving between lessons. With this approach, you can expect steady, visible progress in speaking, listening, and overall English communication, ready to apply in meetings, presentations, interviews, or daily life.
