My English lessons are designed to build confidence, clarity, and real academic progress. I understand that parents in the UK are not just looking for someone to “teach English,” but someone who can genuinely support their child’s development in reading, writing, speaking, and exam performance.
Each lesson is structured, engaging, and tailored to the student’s needs. I begin with a quick review to reinforce previous learning, followed by focused skill development, whether that’s improving grammar accuracy, expanding vocabulary, strengthening comprehension, or refining essay-writing techniques. For GCSE students, lessons include exam-style practice, model answers, and clear strategies to help them achieve higher grades.
My sessions are interactive rather than lecture-based. Students are encouraged to speak, analyse texts, express opinions, and think critically. This approach not only improves language ability but also develops confidence which is an essential skill for school presentations, interviews, and future academic success.
For younger learners, I incorporate engaging activities, guided reading, and structured writing support to make lessons enjoyable while still academically effective. I ensure that homework, if given, is purposeful and supports measurable improvement.
I have experience in teaching, mentoring, and public speaking, which allows me to help students articulate their ideas clearly and confidently. I also maintain open communication with parents when required, providing feedback on progress and areas for improvement.
Above all, my goal is simple: to help students feel confident in English, perform strongly in school, and develop skills that benefit them far beyond the classroom.
