My online tutoring lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Before starting, I take time to understand the student’s current level, strengths, areas for improvement, and exam board requirements. This allows lessons to be focused and effective from the outset.

Each session is delivered live using an online platform with screen sharing and interactive tools. Lessons typically begin with a short recap of previous content or a quick starter question to check understanding. New topics are then explained clearly using diagrams, key terminology, and real exam-style examples. In Biology, I break down complex processes into simple, step-by-step explanations, while in History I focus on building strong contextual knowledge and clear analytical skills.

Active participation is a key part of my lessons. Students are encouraged to answer questions, explain concepts in their own words, and practise exam questions during the session. We regularly work through GCSE past-paper questions together, with detailed feedback on how to improve structure, accuracy, and exam technique. I also share revision strategies and memory techniques to help students retain information between lessons.

At the end of each lesson, we review progress and set clear, manageable tasks to complete before the next session. Parents and students can receive regular updates on progress if desired. Overall, my online lessons aim to build confidence, improve exam performance, and help students reach their full potential in a supportive and motivating environment.
