Generally i utilize active learning in my lessons. I prefer a modern teaching style which engages students by forcing them to actively problem solve rather than just listen to a lecture style lesson. I use worksheets and interactive white board apps which allow the student and I to interact virtually which leads to a higher level of engagement to accomplish this. I also have a passion for inspiring students and so I try to make a personal connection with each student, I find this sort of connection can motivate students more to succeed. My ideal lesson balances fun and work, helping the student stay motivated and focused while also making significant improvements in understanding.
