Hi, I’m Samuel, and I’m here to provide engaging, supportive, and personalised maths tutoring that’s built around your individual needs. I’m always happy to help with any part of the GCSE or A-Level Maths curriculum, whether you’re aiming to boost your grades, strengthen your understanding, or build confidence in topics you find difficult. My lessons are flexible and student-focused. If you already have homework or classwork, we can work through it together step by step, making sure you fully understand the method rather than just memorising answers. If you’d rather improve overall performance, we can focus on carefully chosen practice questions that target weaker areas and develop strong exam technique. Each session is adapted to your progress, so you’ll always feel supported and challenged at the right level.

I am currently in my final year studying for an MMath degree at the University of Leeds, and I’ve been studying mathematics for over 15 years. This has given me a broad and detailed understanding of maths, as well as a range of different approaches to problem-solving, which is especially helpful when a student feels stuck.

I also have previous experience tutoring GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics students in one-to-one sessions, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing students improve through consistent practice and encouragement.

My goal is to make maths feel less intimidating and far more achievable. I want sessions to feel friendly and collaborative, and I’ll always aim to improve not only your ability, but also your confidence and enjoyment of maths.
