In our first lesson, or potentially first few lessons, I will ask you a few questions about where you are at in relation to your maths ability, and the grade you are currently on, and then ask about where you would like to be for your final exam. For example, you may say that you are struggling with certain topics, and are currently predicted a grade 5, but would like to achieve a grade 7 on the final exam. I will then design sessions tailored to the areas where you need improvement and share with you the revision resources that I used to acheive a grade 8 in GCSE Maths. Please be aware that these sessions are not a replacement for your maths lessons, they are to address areas where you are struggling, and to give you revision tips to help you to learn all of the GCSE content to the level that you need to get a good grade in the final exam. If you have any specific ways of working that you find harder, then I can change my sessions to make sure you are learning in a way that suits you, and if you have any additional learning needs, I can do my best to adapt my sessions to make them as helpful as possible for you as an individual. I, like any tutor on this platform, cannot promise drastic grade increases with absolute certainty, but if you work hard through these sessions and in your maths lessons at school, I strongly believe that you can see improvement, as I did when I started using the revision methods that I am going to share with you.
