Hello! My name is Sam Hobden, I have a very strong mathematics background in which I excelled throughout school as shown below.

Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, A in GCSE Further Maths.
A* in Further-mathematics A-Level
BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter with a Year in Industry at L3 Harris as a Design Engineer.

I am currently training to be a Commercial Airline Pilot in Exeter at Aviation South West.

In our lessons, we will first identify weaknesses in the structure of your mathematical approaches. We will then address this with various activities and setups to find what works best for you. Then we will thoroughly work on those topics until you are more than confident to complete the activities by yourself.

I am patient and friendly with those who are not confident yet in their abilities. When we go through work together we can either go through content you have visited during your eductaion or I can create worksheets to target certain subjects.
