I offer supportive, structured and engaging A-Level Psychology lessons designed to help students build confidence, understand key concepts, and improve their exam performance.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs. We can focus on content knowledge, exam technique, essay structure, research methods, evaluation skills, or specific topics such as social influence, memory, attachment, psychopathology, biopsychology, approaches, issues and debates, and relationships. I always aim to make psychological theories and studies clear, memorable and relevant, rather than overwhelming.

A typical lesson usually starts with identifying the student’s current understanding and any areas they find difficult. We then work through the topic step by step, using clear explanations, examples, diagrams, retrieval practice, and exam style questions. I also help students understand how to apply AO1, AO2 and AO3 effectively, as this is often where marks are gained or lost in A-Level Psychology.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and practical. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their answers. I can also help with revision planning, essay practice, feedback on written work, and preparing for assessments or final exams.
