Having an achieved an A* in English literature with the highest mark in my cohort and full marks at GCSE in 2024, I intend to demystify what it means to get the top grades. I have 1 year experience tutoring A-Level students through close analysis geared to the specific literary form; live modelling; and being alive to the different potential meanings texts offer. This has included support with set texts and the NEA/Coursework component. I also have experience helping English Language resit students post-16 who are struggling to achieve a grade 4 or require a higher grade for competitive university courses and apprenticeship programmes.
