My lessons are designed to be encouraging, tailored, and interactive - focused on helping each learner feel confident and curious. With over 15 years’ experience as a qualified teacher and national examiner, I understand how to adapt my approach to suit different learning styles, personalities, and abilities.

I start by getting to know the student: what they enjoy, where they feel stuck, and how they prefer to learn. From there, I create personalised lesson plans that mix structured content with creativity, discussion, and real-life application. I use questions, prompts, and reflective activities to build not just knowledge, but genuine understanding.

Depending on the subject and age group, lessons may include visual aids, games, past paper practice, or storytelling to keep things engaging. I’ve taught in schools, led curriculum planning, supported home educators, and created digital learning tools, so I know how to make learning accessible and enjoyable across all settings.

Above all, I believe in nurturing self-belief and independence. I aim to create a safe space where students feel seen, heard, and supported to take risks, ask questions, and grow at their own pace.
