My lessons are designed to be structured yet adaptable, focusing on each student’s specific needs. I begin by discussing with the student what topics they struggle with and identifying key areas for improvement. This ensures that lessons are targeted and efficient, making the most of our time together. I also encourage students to be involved in the lesson planning where possible, as I find this increases engagement, motivation, and their overall understanding of the subject.

Each session typically starts with a brief review of prior material to reinforce understanding before moving on to new concepts. I explain topics clearly, using step-by-step examples and encouraging students to ask questions throughout. Rather than passively absorbing information, students are actively involved in solving problems and applying their knowledge in real-time. This approach helps build their confidence and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for academic success.

I tailor my teaching methods based on the student’s learning style, whether they benefit more from visual explanations, worked examples, or guided practice. I also provide additional exercises where necessary to consolidate their understanding and track their progress over time. Since I have experience teaching both maths and physics up to A-level, I am well-versed in common problem areas and how to address them effectively.

My goal is to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable tackling difficult topics. By focusing on logical reasoning and problem-solving techniques, I help students develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their studies.
