The lessons are completely customisable and how we do things is really up to you. Wether you prefer to work on your fluency, your pronunciation, your accuracy, preparing for exams, presentations, work on your writing, we will work together in the way that best suits you and your learning style.

A typical 1-hour lesson could look like:

Warm up chat
Language work
Productive task
Error correction
Cool down and scheduling our next lesson

We can use a structured textbook, authentic materials (readings and listenings from newspapers, blogs, the radio, YouTube etc) have materials-light communication focused lessons, or a mixture of the above to guarantee variety, flexibility and and fun ??

Generally, most of my online students take 1 hour a week but I'm happy to work to a different schedule if you have any particular needs. I'm happy to give you homework for extra practice (or not!) but you must remember that only dedicating 1 hour a week to language learning is not enough for you to progress, so I do expect that you will set aside some time outside of our lessons to learn English. If you are struggling with this, of course I can help you!

At any point during our learning journey, you are welcome to provide feedback about how we are working together and of course, make suggestions or ask for things to be changed. We work at your pace and in a style that works best for you, it's not that we have to follow a method which I prefer.

Lessons will be done online via webcam on any platform that you prefer, Meet, Teams, Zoom etc.
