I am a first year student at Queen Mary University Of London, studying astrophysics. I achieved top grades at GCSE, especially in mathematics and physics, as well as great A-level grades that helped me get into a well-accredited Russel Group university.

I will do 1 hour lessons on primary, Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths. My methodology for teaching is by using questions from textbooks, on call, where then I will break down the question, where then I will give you an opportunity to do the question yourself. I will then see where you have went wrong, from simple mistakes to misunderstandings in the topic itself. When we see where you have went wrong, I can strengthen your knowledge by deeply explaining how the mathematics works, including real-life examples. we can then go ahead and move onto another question, that challenges your current understanding. By doing this, you are helping develop your logical part of your brain.

I don't plan to hand out homework, as you are most likely already busy with homework from your school/college. If however you are struggling on a question that you find difficult, or you don't understand the solution from a piece of homework, I am willing to do it in my tutor session with you, and see how to reach the answer.

I have done this before with students in a classroom-like setting, one-on-one. I have helped students achieve great grades for their GCSE results before. One student went from being predicted a grade 5 to achieving a grade 7 after a year of my support.
