Recently I was working with Ebek language laboratories as an Occupational Language Test Interlocutor. I felt like students are familiar with the language but they are not confident enough to speak the same. The reason behind the lack of confidence even when they know the language is something else. With some personal conversations with few candidates, I realized that they all so worried about the environment in which they do testing. They created an unnecessary fear that the test venue is an international platform and the Interlocutors will be so proficiency and expert in English Language that they couldn't beat with them in speaking test. I made it very clear that we as an Interlocutor simply acts as a catalyst for their speaking test. We don't debate instead we support them. And many of them successful passed the occupational test after I approached them with this attitude. As a teacher I first identified my student community and their potential, after that I plan teaching strategy accordingly.
