I have experience teaching English in primary schools in France, to over thirteen classes. I also have been teaching French as well in secondary schools in London for a few months. So I understand truly how every student learns, which is differently!
My lessons can be customised to your specific learning style, or to what you want to get better at or understand better, and I will tailor it to you, as I know that everyone learns languages differently. However my basic format consists of visual word structures and vocabulary, then into the short term memory, then repetition. Depending on the lesson topic, I do a lot of gap fills, and sentence rearranging. We will work together a lot in our lesson, so never feel like I am just giving you a lecture!
I will give you worksheets to complete after our lesson which we will discuss and go through at our next lesson where you can bring up any confusions, grammatically or otherwise to me and I will of course go through it with you to help you understand it better.
My lessons are not too demanding, but they do challenge you. Whenever you want the pace to slow down please let me know, and we can adjust the lessons moving forward.
I am enthusiastic and I love languages and helping all my students so I hope to bring my expertise and experience to all of those who learn with me!
