Sajid Mahmood

Hi! My name's Sajid and I am tutoring students aged 11-18 in maths. Whether it's for a specific exam, overall exam technique or to help improve understanding of any topic(s) I am eager to help! I have some experience in maths tuition when I was a school/university student and have achieved high grades in maths in my own studies (9 in GCSE maths, A* in A-level maths and a Masters' Degree in Economics).

My teaching style is catered to each individual student to have the best result; with me usually going through concepts that the student is struggling with in a friendly manner and the speed they are comfortable at, followed by walking through problem questions step-by-step to give my students the tools to tackle example problems themselves.

Lessons are interactive and supportive. Students are encouraged to ask questions and explain their thinking, which strengthens retention. I also provide structured homework and feedback after each session, tracking progress against exam board specifications.

My goal is not only to improve grades, but to build confidence and independence so students feel in control of their maths ability.
