I have worked at a tuition company called explore learning and also as a teaching assistant in different schools. I have worked alongside children between the ages of 7-16 all with different levels of ability and needs. I aim to personalise each tutoring session to make learning fun and enjoyable for the individual. I also make a plan of goals which I aim to aid the student to accomplish. I offer online sessions, provide work to students to complete in their own time to further develop their knowledge and also take into consideration anything they/their parents would like me to include in the sessions provided.

I use lesson plans and also my experience in being in different classrooms alongside amazing teachers. I am a very thorough individual and also as a mother myself know how important it is to keep parents in the loop so they are up to date with their children’s progress, strengths and weaknesses. I enjoy using the children’s likes and interests and incorporating these into the lessons which I give so they look forward to learning.

I teach in a way in which I wish I was taught. As someone who grew up with pressure to only be the best I began to become fearful of failure and lost all motivation. I would like to change this. I hope that with my lessons children can learn that they are only ever in competition with theirselves, and that learning can also be fun and enjoyable .i hope to hear from you soon!
