I understand from experience that the best way to learn a language is to practice conversing in that language and having the confidence to use whatever you already know and implement the new words you learn into your conversions. My priority is helping my students gain the confidence they need to not be afraid of using verbal english. My format of lessons will be first to determine what level my student is at with their english and figuring out their method of learning and undertanding so I can teach them in the waybthat is best for them. After that we will determine their goals with the English language, if there is a specific firld they want to focus on so I can plan the lessons accordingly. I as a teacher believe that every person is different and has a different way of understanding having a teacher give you one to one lessons, especially one that understands you and knows how to teach you well is much better than going to a classroom full of people where the teacher has to teach generally instead of being able to focus on their students individually. This is also much better than trying to learn from a textbook; even though textbooks are great to have for reference but it won't be much help when you need to speak english in real life. And for that you have to practice speaking itself. Don't worry I won't force you to talk if you aren't comfortable but I will make sure that you are comfortable enough to talk.
