My maths lessons are structured to be clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building a strong understanding of core concepts before moving on to more complex topics, ensuring there are no gaps in knowledge. Lessons typically start with a brief recap of previous material, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic, step-by-step worked examples, and guided practice.

I believe students learn best when they are actively involved, so I encourage them to ask questions, share their thinking, and explain their reasoning. This approach not only helps them master the content but also builds confidence in problem-solving. I adapt the pace according to the student’s progress, offering extra support where needed or introducing extension work for those ready for more challenge.

The content of my lessons covers everything from foundational arithmetic to advanced topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. I also help with exam preparation, including past paper practice and targeted revision strategies, so students feel prepared and confident in the lead-up to assessments.

I have experience teaching a wide range of abilities, from students who find maths challenging to those aiming for top grades. My goal is to make maths approachable and logical, showing how concepts connect and how they apply in real-world situations.
