Step 1: Let the Fun Begin
We'll kick off the lesson with a fun icebreaker activity to get those writing muscles moving! Whether it's a word association game or a creative challenge, your child will love the opportunity to unleash their imagination!

Step 2: Igniting Creativity
Now it's time to get inspired! From reading a Michael Rosen poem to researching crazy animals, inspiration is just around the corner!

Step 3: Crafting Ideas
With inspiration in full swing, it's time to start planning! Your child will brainstorm ideas, develop characters, and sketch out storylines - setting the stage for their writing masterpiece...

Step 4: Let the Words Flow
Now it's time to let their words flow onto the page! Your child will have the freedom to express themselves creatively, whether they're crafting a poem, short story, or song. I'll provide guidance and support every step of the way to help their ideas come to life.

Step 5: Polishing the Gem
Writing is rewriting! In this step, we'll focus on editing and refining your child's work to make it sparkle. From checking spelling and grammar to fine-tuning sentence structure and flow, I'll help your child develop essential editing skills while ensuring their writing shines brightly.

Step 6: Reflecting and Growing
We'll wrap up the lesson with a little reflection on your child's learning. It's an opportunity to celebrate their progress, set new goals, and for them to proudly share their new writing with you!

Ryan managed to coach our son, encouraging him, challenging him and getting him engaged and actually enjoying the work. His teacher had commented at the time how much of a difference she had seen in our son's attitude, understanding and confidence and we attribute a large amount of that to the help he received from Ryan. Thank you Ryan for your patience and tenacity with Douglas. The results speak for themselves.

Ryan helped my son to build his confidence and also helped him to get prepared for SAT's. Ryan has been a brilliant tutor for my 11 year old son. His lessons are fun and very interactive. Before working with Ryan, he didn't like writing and couldn't express his thoughts on paper well. Now he enjoys writing stories and I enjoy reading them^^ Thank you Ryan!
