I am an experienced teacher in the upper primary class for over ten years. I have tutored many pupils for common entrance and other entrance examinations into secondary schools. In all these years, I have never recorded any failure among my pupils to the glory of God Almighty. I am efficient, committed and devoted in my teaching profession. I don't believe that any child is a failure, I believe that every child has a potential divinely deposited into him or her which is waiting to manifest; and a good teacher is capable of making that child realize and explore that potential.
The explanations I give on every lesson I teach are always simple and brief, rightly expatiating and explaining concept to the best knowledge of my pupils; using day-to-day activities and things that can be seen around the learning environment as aids for better understanding.
As an experienced teacher, I have come across children of diverse attitude; e.g those who had self confidence to make an attempt in every newly-introduced concept in class and those who never believed in themselves that they can do it. Understanding every child makes a teacher attend to them based on their individual strength and weaknesses. Helping the weak to become strong through tutoring, patience, encouragement and motivation; and encouraging the strong to become stronger. Every child is unique in his own way.
Teaching is my passion. One of my decision is that every child that passes through my class must not leave the way he or she comes, there must be a value added to him or her.
