Ruth Paton

Hello! My name is Ruth and I am an English teacher from the Dunfermline area in Scotland. I have a 150 hour advanced TEFL certificate. I have been teaching English for 3 years and have experience of teaching classes and individuals, both online and face to face in my home.

I have availability on weekday afternoons and on Fridays. Lessons cost £13 per hour and I can do packages of 5 lessons for £60, paid in advance. I offer a free 30 minute trial lesson to anyone interested in starting lessons with me.

I use various teaching materials to suit the level and needs of students. I think it is important that students enjoy their lessons and find them interesting, so they are keen to learn and grow in confidence in their own ability to use the English language. I teach students how to speak, read, write and listen to English so all four skills are well developed.
