I am looking to help people in years 4,5,6 in order to gain successful entry into their chosen grammar schools. The 11+ exam is very different to sitting SATS. It’s more advanced and shows intelligence is above average. I am an ex student at a grammar school myself. I studied at Ribston Hall High School in Gloucester. I provide 2 hour lessons of practicing skills like verbal reasoning, algebra and number skills. I give homework after each lesson. Each student of mine is provided with an individual learning plan. We set goals and work towards them and we review what targets we have met after each topic. Outside of my lesson I expect my students to take learning into their own hands and want to teach themselves more about what was studied with me or at school. This shows determination and dedication and will only help them achieve better.
