I have teaching experience across KS1 and KS2 through my PGCE Primary placements in Year 1 and Year 6, alongside supply teaching in different primary classes. I have planned and taught English, mathematics, science and foundation subjects, using my knowledge of the National Curriculum to set clear learning objectives and structure lessons. My competencies include adapting tasks for different abilities, supporting pupils with SEND, using practical resources and visual prompts, and assessing understanding through questioning, observation and pupils’ work. I build positive relationships, establish clear classroom routines and encourage children’s confidence and independence. I also reflect on feedback and assessment to improve my teaching and support pupils’ progress. I am a kind and nurturing person who handle situations with patience. Empathy is my strength which helps me to relate with other people. I have also done action research in Pedagogy and multistep Mathematics problems. One of my key strengths is creating a supportive classroom where children feel respected and motivated to learn. My extensive Early Years experience helps me recognise developmental differences and respond sensitively to individual needs. I am organised, reliable and committed to preparing lessons that make learning meaningful and accessible. I work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and parents to support children’s learning and wellbeing. Supply teaching has strengthened my flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to unfamiliar classes and routines. I welcome constructive feedback, reflect honestly on my practice and seek opportunities to develop my skills. I bring patience, resilience and enthusiasm to my work as a primary school teacher. One of my key strengths is creating a supportive classroom where children feel respected and motivated to learn.
