My lessons usually start with a starter or an ice breaker to ease you into the lesson. Maths should be fun! (My dad made sure to remind me when he used to teach me!)

Then, we move on to explaining the concepts on the syllabi in its most base form, with a couple exercises to test and solidify them.

Individual work and/or exam prep is also an option here depending on exam schedules and how soon they are.

We then round up the lesson with a work review and any further questions. Homework is also provided to further cement the knowledge learnt in the session!

This format has worked for me, however if your child has any teaching requirements, I can definitely take them into consideration as teaching your child optimally is my goal at the end of the day! I have completed a TEFL course and had the opportunity to teach English in Spain for a few months before COVID hit in the beginning of 2020.
