I have 4 years of tutoring experience at school and university both in person and virtually and happy to accommodate to personal preferences. My lessons follow a specific format where key concepts are explained and students are adequately challenged. My philosophy is to push students to reach new academic heights through clear explanations, enough examples and applications of knowlege so that students feel confident exploring tasks alone but also able to ask for support and guidance so they can truly flourish.
Content reflects the curriculum to ensure students have the best chance of maximising marks achieved in their exams. I cover the must knows for the assessments in starters and example walk throughs, teach a few activities where my students tell me what to do and we problem solve together and provide examples that I work through with students and then give them the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice.
I tutor across primary, secondary, sixth form and university levels offering:
Maths: KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level
English: KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE
Biology: KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level
Chemistry: KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE
Physics: KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE
Politics: A-Level and University
Sociology: A-Level and University
I am also happy to offer CV feedback, interview tips and practice and mentoring for students who many need guidance navigating secondary, sixth form and higher education dynamics.
Do get in touch should you have any questions and I look forward to meeting you and working with you soon!
Best,
Ronke
