I completely recognise that not everyone is a natural "maths person" or "maths lover". In fact, I wasn't either at first! But I firmly believe that with the right guidance, patience, and approach, anyone can master mathematics. I focus on creating an encouraging space where no question is too small, mistakes are treated as key learning opportunities and you can build genuine confidence at your own pace.

My Teaching Style:
My main goal is to help you overcome math anxiety, master difficult topics, and develop strong analytical thinking. Rather than just memorising steps, you will learn to think like a mathematician so that you can approach unseen problems with confidence, robust understanding, and accuracy - achieving your full potential in whatever exams await you.

Lesson Format & Content:
Every lesson is tailored to your specific goals and learning style. We can discuss your specific targets before beginning tuition, and during our sessions, I generally follow a three-step approach:

1. Breaking Down Concepts: We start by breaking down complex math concepts into plain, accessible language using step-by-step logic.
2. Guided & Independent Practice: We work through active problem-solving exercises together to ensure you master techniques. You then work through catered problems with real-time feedback.
3. Consolidation: We wrap up every session by reviewing key takeaways, answering remaining questions, and setting clear targets for independent practice.
