Welcome to My Advanced English Lessons
My lessons are designed to help you become more confident, fluent, and accurate in English — not just by studying the language, but by using it actively.
Lesson Format
- Clear Objectives: Each lesson begins with a goal (e.g., “Expressing complex opinions,” “Writing persuasive arguments,” or “Understanding academic texts”).
- Short, Interactive Segments: I break the class into manageable parts so you practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in every session.
- Active Participation: You won’t just listen to me — you’ll engage in discussions, debates, role-plays, and problem-solving activities.
What You’ll Do in Class
- Warm-up & Review (5–10 min): Quick interactive activity to review previous material and introduce today’s theme.
- Core Practice (20–30 min): Guided exercises, such as analyzing short articles, debating current issues, or working through real-life scenarios (emails, presentations, interviews).
- Interactive Activity (10–15 min): Games, critical-thinking questions, or small challenges to apply new language immediately.
- Reflection & Feedback (5–10 min): Summarize what you learned, correct mistakes, and set goals for next time.
Learning Dynamics
- Focus on speaking fluently and naturally, with attention to advanced vocabulary and idioms.
- Work on listening to different English accents through audio/video practice.
- Practice academic and professional writing (essays, reports, business emails).
- Learn through cultural context — idiomatic expressions, humor, and cultural references.
Activities to Help You Retain English
- Short quizzes and memory games.
- Real-life role-plays (job interviews, negotiations, presentations).
- Group or pair debates to strengthen critical thinking in English.
- “Teach-back” method, where you explain new concepts back to me.
