I am a qualified UK-based Sociology teacher with 20 years of experience and 7 years A Level examiner experience. I have a very strong understanding of exactly what examiners are looking for. Past results with students have been exceptional and I really do enjoy supporting them to achieve far beyond what they initially think is possible.

During my teaching career I have also held senior leadership roles, giving me a broad understanding of how students learn, what can get in the way of progress and how to help move them forward.

I really love Sociology and I know how to connect contemporary examples with ensuring high application marks in the exams.

My approach is friendly, supportive, warm and straightforward. I want students to feel comfortable saying when they don't understand something whilst also being challenged to make genuine progress.
