I have been tutoring mathematics for 2 years with students of all ages and enjoy it to a great extent as explaining complex models and topics in different ways to a variety of students interests me to a great extent.
I have also taken part in my schools mentorship programme which allowed me to teach mathematical topics to students in younger years who were particularly struggling.
Finally, obtaining an A* in both maths and further maths in A-Level last year makes me incredibly qualified, in my opinion, as this was very recently and therefore I remember a vast amount of the content and the difficult topics.
I have found in my experience that there are a range of teaching methods which apply to students however my preferred choice is showing questions on a topic, doing a couple myself whilst explaining all the steps slowly and then allowing the student to complete more questions alone until they completely understand the topic.
