What to Expect from My Maths Lessons (Up to GCSE Level)
My lessons are supportive, structured, and fully tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether you're aiming to build confidence with the basics or push for a top GCSE grade, I’ll help you get there with a clear and personalised approach.
Lesson Format - Each session typically lasts 60 minutes and follows a proven structure:
• Quick Warm-Up: Short recap questions to reinforce previous topics.
• Focused Topic Work: We dive into one or two key areas each lesson, with step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and guided practice.
• Interactive Practice: Students try problems on their own with live feedback and support.
• Review & Recap: We end with a summary of what’s been covered and optional homework to keep progress going between lessons.
Content Covered
I teach all topics across:
• Key Stage 2 and 3
• GCSE Foundation and Higher Tiers
• Fully aligned with AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam boards.
Topics include algebra, geometry, number skills, statistics, probability, ratios, and exam techniques — all broken down in a way that makes them easier to understand and remember.
