Qualified and experienced teacher of Modern Foreign & Classical Languages with many years experience teaching in local State and Independent Schools and in adult and further education colleges,. I am currently studying for the Chartered Institute of Linguists translation diploma along with tutoring part-time and working as an online media journalist for a Eurovision social media group. I have taught French, German, Spanish, Italian, Classics and Latin from Key Stage 3 through to A- Level and am a GCSE examiner for the Pearson Edexcel exam board. I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

In my lessons, my goal is to show you how to communicate confidently, using language relevant to your own needs, and what is more, have lots of fun and enjoy the experience along the way. After all learning a language is a life skill, not just a qualification. When teaching , I try hard to make my lessons really engaging, interesting and fun but ultimately relevant, using materials, both published (offline and online) and of my own devising, which you can hopefully easily identify with, and which will capture your imagination. I am very patient, always encouraging, have a sense of humour with a strong belief that bit by bit you will get there, feel a sense of success and start recognising the huge progress you have made.
