About me

I like to build a relationship with my students by getting to know them and making them feel at ease. I like to use lots of praise and try to increase their confidence. I have high expectations for my students as I want them to get the most out of the session so I expect them to work hard, engage with the lesson and practice in their own time.

I like to build a relationship with my students by getting to know them and making them feel at ease. I like to use lots of praise and try to increase their confidence. I have high expectations for my students as I want them to get the most out of the session so I expect them to work hard, engage with the lesson and practice in their own time.

I have experience working in a secondary school and Sixth form for 2 years and I also have experience providing tuition to independent learners. I like to use a range of tools to create an engaging lesson by using images, songs, games (when age appropriate) and also having meaningful conversations with my students so that they develop their listening and speaking skills.

Learning a new language is hard but rewarding and watching students learn new vocabulary and becoming more fluent is the best feeling as a teacher.
