My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to ensure consistent, measurable progress. I typically follow a clear format while remaining flexible enough to adapt to each student’s needs and objectives.

A standard lesson often includes:

Warm-up and review – brief conversation to activate prior knowledge and build fluency
Target focus – a specific grammar point, vocabulary set, or functional language (e.g. giving opinions, handling meetings, storytelling)
Guided practice – controlled exercises to reinforce accuracy and understanding
Communicative stage – extended speaking tasks where you actively use the target language in realistic situations
Feedback and correction – precise, constructive feedback on errors, with clear explanations and examples
Recap and follow-up – summary of key points and optional tasks to consolidate learning

The content is always relevant and practical. I use real-life scenarios, discussion topics, role plays, and, where appropriate, authentic materials such as articles or case studies. For business English learners, lessons may include simulations of meetings, presentations, or email writing. For general learners, the focus is on natural conversation, fluency, and accuracy.

In terms of dynamics, lessons are student-centred. You will be speaking for the majority of the session, with my role being to guide, correct, and push your language further. I prioritise clarity and efficiency—explaining concepts in a straightforward way and ensuring you leave each lesson with language you can immediately apply.

I bring over ten years of international teaching experience, working with children, teenagers, and adults across a wide range of levels and cultural contexts. This allows me to quickly identify strengths and weaknesses, adapt materials on the spot, and maintain a productive but relaxed learning environment.
